Hi everyone my name is Owen and I’m one of the two new Lunan Bay Rangers. My role is funded by NatureScot better places green recovery fund in partnership with the Lunan Bay Communities Partnership and Angus Council
My role is to encourage safe and responsible use of the land and waters for the visitors. I am responsible for the protection of wildlife at Lunan Bay and one of my objectives is to improve and create habitats to increase the biodiversity.
We are keen to make a success of the 4 month rangers project which will involve working together with the community, collaborators and visitors to create a better and safer environment for all at Lunan Bay.
We have just completed our induction and now we’re ready to get started!
